Lead Java Backend Developer

We are inviting a Lead Java Backend Developer to help ensure our backend performance and reliability match the popularity of our games.

Responsibilities:

  • coordinate the work of the Backend development team;
  • interact with other teams and specialists (Frontend, QA, DevOps);
  • develop architecture capable of handling tens of thousands of RPS;
  • extend and maintain existing Backend functionality;

Requirements:

  • at least 5 years of commercial Java development experience and Senior-level Java knowledge;
  • experience managing a development team of 3–5 people;
  • understanding of HL/HA solution design principles;
  • understanding of service operation and monitoring principles;
  • understanding of design patterns and principles, with a desire to follow them;
  • experience with the technology stack: Java 8+, Spring (MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Liquibase, MySQL, MongoDB, Hibernate, MyBatis, JMS, Camel, ActiveMQ, Redis, Tomcat;
  • experience with development tools: Maven, Git, Jenkins, Nexus.

  • knowledge of probability theory, combinatorics, and mathematical statistics;
