Senior Dev-Ops

We are inviting a Senior DevOps engineer who can work with k8s on bare-metal platforms. We are looking for a specialist who clearly understands hardware and file systems, has deep networking experience, and has production-ready experience with clustered databases and k8s operators for application management.

Responsibilities:

participate in optimizing and scaling infrastructure on the company’s bare-metal servers (nginx, tomcat, mysql, mongodb, activemq, redis, Java microservices, talos-k8s);
research and develop modern technologies and introduce them into the current infrastructure and application architecture;
automate deployment of new installations;
improve monitoring systems;

Requirements:

experience developing and implementing scalable infrastructures, with an understanding of architectural principles for such systems;
ability to work with tools for deployment automation, configuration management, containerization, and orchestration (Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalents);
experience creating, implementing, and supporting CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD);
knowledge of monitoring and logging systems: InfluxDB, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK-stack, and others;
experience administering Linux (Debian) and virtualization management systems (Proxmox VE);
deep understanding of the fundamentals: operating systems, networks, and file systems;
strong networking knowledge and experience with VPNs (wireguard, OpenVPN, and others);
commercial experience with design and development tools: Subversion, GitLab, Nexus, Jira, Confluence;

Useful:

experience with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
experience with server and network hardware;
basic Java knowledge;
strong analytical skills and the ability to find solutions and work in non-standard situations;
